Thinking of original hatred....

I used to agree with Allain de Botton, 
that we shouldn't judge one another too quickly 
into the start of conversation. 

I am learning the folly of this with retroactive appreciation. 

The people who work too much and 
never have enough money; the malcontented 
teenagers and kids in their 20s 
hiding behind computer screens 
and dying in a sad, worthless isolation; 
the ones who invent parlor tricks that 
are either truly unimpressive or 
simply beyond the apparent skillset 
of their speakers; the old men with less 
character than the hemorrhoids that plague them: 

they are fit to be judged and dismissed 

forever.
